Things have changed a bit for this match who met more than a year ago (pic on the left). But even with a newborn baby in the mix a year later, Joe continues to be there for Levi in their individual match.

A lot of the concerns we hear about mentoring is whether or not a mentor might have enough time to spend a few hours a month with a mentee.

We hope that anyone with concerns will take a cue from this fantastic match – although Joe is a mentor with a beautiful newborn, he is still finding time with his mentee who waited a really long time for a mentor.
We promise you’ll be able to find the time to fold a youth into the things you’re already doing and, boy, are we grateful that our mentors make the time to make a difference in the lives of the local youth they mentor.

We’re grateful for amazing mentors like Joe who have stepped up to meet a need as we have with more than 30 boys on our waitlist. Thanks for building a bond with your mentee even during this busy time of life.
